Our Story
Robyn's Journey:
Robyn grew up in Florida but found her true home in Texas when she moved here in 1998. Recruited by the largest producer of consumer shows in the world, she played a pivotal role in opening the Southwest Division. Over nine years, Robyn honed her skills in all aspects of event production, starting as an administrative assistant, advancing to Office Manager, and then as Operations Manager. Her dedication and expertise led her to a role in sales and eventually to Show Management in 2000. One of her notable achievements was managing the Austin Home & Garden Show in 2001, which became the best-attended consumer event in Austin that year.
Jeff's Background:
Jeff, born in Houston and raised in Katy, graduated from Sam Houston State University. A self-taught graphic and web designer, Jeff brought his creative skills and technical expertise to the table when he and Robyn founded RJC Productions in 2005.
Our Mission and Values
At RJC Productions, we are customer centered with core values of honesty, integrity, and excellence. We value teamwork, hard work, and having fun while doing it! Our mission is to host events that increase business for local companies while providing an engaging and entertaining experience for the community.
Signature Events
Our hallmark event is the Katy Home & Garden Show, which held its first show in January 2007 and is now heading into its 19th year with a slightly different name as it was recently re-branded to the Katy Home & Outdoor Living Show. This event is unique for its on-trend attractions and speakers, and for limiting product categories to ensure not only a diverse mix of companies for attendees – but, also to provide exhibitors the best opportunity for sales. In response to community and exhibitor demand, we added the Katy Fall Home Show to our docket, which has now returned as the FALL Katy Home & Outdoor Living Show after a brief hiatus due to COVID-19. In addition to hosting our own events, we have helped others produce wine and food events, beer festivals, and gift markets. These collaborations provide us with valuable insights and keep our approach fresh and innovative.
Our New Home
In July 2023, after years of planning, we made our dream a reality by relocating to the beautiful hill country and now call New Braunfels home! The move has been fantastic for our family—our 16-year-old is thriving in school and has even started his own business, Jeff enjoys teaching Computer Science at Davenport High School, and we all love the nature and small-town feel of our new community.
Looking Forward
With almost 30 years of experience in event production and nearly 20 years of running our own business, we are excited to bring our expertise and passion for excellence to the Hill Country. In February 2025, we will be hosting the Hill Country Home & Outdoor Living Show at the New Braunfels Civic/Convention Center. Scheduled for February 8-9, 2025, this event will bring to New Braunfels the same quality event we have been producing in Katy since 2007. We look forward to introducing new events to the area and continuing to support local businesses and communities.
